About the project

We aimed to create an experience that sparked curiosity, challenged conventions, and felt like uncovering a well-kept secret. The idea was to break away from the ordinary, removing the physical presence of a traditional restaurant so that the experience began long before tasting our dishes.

Like a Japanese legend, it is said that some mysteries reveal themselves only to those who have the courage to embrace the unknown. The quality of its dishes is unmatched, yet the process behind them remains hidden, as if it were an ancient magic.

We wanted to evoke a sense of mystery and exclusivity, making every customer feel like they were part of something unique—almost magical. Our goal was to redefine Japanese cuisine not only through exceptional flavors but also by crafting a narrative that connected diners with the intrigue of the unknown.

With Daku, our mission was always to go beyond food: to take people on a sensory and emotional journey, where the hidden and the mysterious become part of the experience. It’s an invitation to trust, to explore, and to savor.
